Autopsy
03:12
|
|||
I’m locked inside a room
I’m here from dawn ‘till dusk
The walls are squeezing in
Forgotten and confused
Already I am losing trust
I’m waiting for the light
Each day I’m on repeat
Same problem every day
No one to catch my fall
No one to hear me speak
Conformity disguised with a tinted vale
(Don’t ever talk to me)
Autopsy performed with a rusty nail
(Like I’m your only friend)
I walk the streets at night
My plans have gone to dust
Can’t sleep insomnia
Is taking over
Treading leaves that turn to rust
Been going on too long
I don’t know which way to turn
This rule I’ve lost the faith
A journey from all hope
When will they ever learn?
Conformity disguised with a tinted vale
(Don’t ever talk to me)
Autopsy performed with a rusty nail
(I’m criminal and hopeless)
I’m locked inside a room
I’m waiting for the light
Conformity disguised with a tinted vale
(Don’t ever talk to me)
Autopsy performed with a rusty nail
(Like I’m a child)
I’m locked inside a room
I’m here from dawn ‘till dusk
The walls are squeezing in

Birth Machine Baby
04:24
|
|||
We take the tops off mountains
And dig the bottom of the sea
We fly a rocket to the moon
Now we’re on our knees
Will you tell me what the future holds?
For the next generation
When all of them are yearning
To reach for the sun
Facing the day when there’s nothing left
It’s easy just to close your eyes
One hundred years from now none of us will be around
We’re singing ‘welcome to the nation’
Birth machine baby coming at you maybe
Save all your dying for me
It’s a global admission
Where millions will die
The world’s population
Continues to thrive
We all ignore it
As it takes our land
The Earth’s worst enemy
Was always man
Facing the day when there’s nothing left
It’s easy just to close your eyes
One hundred years from now none of us will be around
We’re singing ‘welcome to the nation’
Birth machine baby coming at you maybe
Save all your dying for me
For me yeah
Birth machine baby yeah
Facing the day when there’s nothing left
It’s easy just to close your eyes
One hundred years from now none of us will be around
We’re singing ‘welcome to the nation’
Birth machine baby coming at you maybe
Save all your dying for me
For me yeah

Unwanted Guest
04:39
|
|||
I close my eyes and the world drops dead when they open I’m born again
I like the darkness and the peace that holds the constant dread
Your shadow wraps me tight and holds me once again
Like an old familiar friend to guide me through the rain
If not for you then where would I be
Unwanted Guest inside my mind
Unwanted feelings from other times
Things I can’t share with you
Coz speaking aloud would make me do them again
Unwanted Guest inside my mind
I’m flesh and bone but they don’t see me
How I’d like to cry
My light is shining bright
To see the dark you must see light
Your shadow wraps me tight and holds me once again
Like an old familiar friend to guide me through the rain
If not for you then where would I be
Unwanted Guest inside my mind
Unwanted feelings from other times
Things I can’t share with you
Coz speaking aloud would make me do them again
Unwanted Guest inside my mind
Each way I turn another wall
Each way i turn
Each way I turn another wall
Each way I turn
Another wall for me to hit
Your shadow wraps me tight and holds me once again
Like an old familiar friend to guide me through the rain
If not for you then where would I be
Unwanted Guest inside my mind
Unwanted feelings from other times
Things I can’t share with you
Coz speaking aloud would make me do them again
Unwanted Guest inside my mind

Grave Metallum
04:45
|
|||
Rock music isn’t dead
But it’s hanging by a very thin thread
A pantheon of rock’n’roll legends now those legends are fading away
Streams of music - Stairway deniers - loyalty is no order of the day
The circus tent arrives without warning
Leaving grieving worshippers mourning, oh yeah
I feel at home with those departed from the stage
The circus will embrace us all and it’s here that we will stay
Grave metallum
Grave metallum
There is no one left to play
Where is this year’s Wish You Were Here?
Dying breeds that all disappear
Engraved upon our hearts our heroes soon will all be gone
Bleeding for those yesterdays with music that lives on and on and on
Grave metallum
Grave metallum
There is no one left to play
Grave metallum
Grave metallum
They have all but gone away
Roll up roll up for the show that never ends
Step inside step inside bring your family and friends
There’s Hendrix, Mercury, Presley just to name
With Weiland, Staley, Cornell and Cobain
We’re no longer told what we should listen too
With millions of channels to find our way through
There’ll be a tsunami of bodies to come
Who will replace them when they are all gone?
Roll up roll up for the greatest show on earth
It’s showtime all the time they sing for all they’re worth
All of your heroes are all here inside
One thing I must tell you all of them have died
Come see the freakshow and don’t be afraid
For yours and their safety they’ve all been restrained
This is a graveyard an infinite cage
Made for the legends that once ruled the stage

Future Not Fear
03:38
|
|||
You spread your lies and burnt the truth
They didn’t ask they had no proof
A story planned the web was spun
You had your time you haven’t won
Drowning in the dark
The game has just begun
The weak ones split like broken thread
Off media now can’t read my head
No longer care no will to fight
I’m in the shade so near the light
I was drowning in the dark
But now I know I’m right
Written across the sky
Something that you deny will appear
A symbol of hope a rainbow of light
Making dark disappear
The rain is drumming at your door
The shame and rumours are no more
All the ones that you’ve deceive
Repeat your lies ‘till they’re believed
I was drowning in the dark
Cause to be perceived
Written across the sky
Something that you deny will appear
A symbol of hope a rainbow of light
Making dark disappear
Written across the sky
Something that you deny will appear
A symbol of hope a rainbow of light
Making dark disappear
Written across the sky
Something that you deny will appear
A symbol of hope a rainbow of light
A future not fear
A future not fear
A future not fear

Blood on the Saw
03:25
|
|||
I can’t get out of bed I’m in my world
Press the reset button in my head
Don’t wanna work but I’m in the red
If I could live on air I’d do that instead
Let’s rearrange the pieces
Dark patterns in the maze
In shades that make it brighter
It’s shared we dared to dream
Than to sweat it out
Blood on the saw
Blood on the saw
Before you regret it
Blood on the saw
Your body can’t do what your brain can’t give it
In my thoughts with the right injection
I tell myself that it’s wrong
To think of it as anything but fiction
The hidden traps I move among
Let’s rearrange the pieces
Dark patterns in the maze
In shades that make it brighter
It’s shared we dared to dream
Than to sweat it out
Blood on the saw
Blood on the saw
Before you regret it
Blood on the saw
Your body can’t do what your brain can’t give it
A change of pace a change of state
A change of sails blowing me into the unknown
Blood on the saw
Blood on the saw
Before you regret it
Blood on the saw
Your body can’t do what your brain can’t give it
Blood on the saw
Blood on the saw
Take the road or forget it
Blood on the saw
Your body can’t do what your brain can’t give it

Load Shift
03:13
|
|||
When a man’s communication enters a woman’s information
Not to raise a younger generation just to reach a common destination
I got my cargo loaded so full of deed
I hope I got the balance right I don’t want to spill my seed
(Do you get the message?)
Load shift it’s a matter of logistics
When you’re down on the scene
Load shift from one place to another
If you know what I mean
Ignition won’t start your going nowhere till you take control
Don’t brake too hard at the wrong time that’s when your load could take a fall
I got my cargo loaded so full of deed
I hope I got the balance right I don’t want to spill my seed
(Did you get the message?)
Load shift it’s a matter of logistics
When you’re down on the scene
Load shift from one place to another
If you know what I mean
We all enter the world in the same way
Born to die when we exit the freeway
You light the fire in my headlight
Let’s keep it burning every day and every night
Take the road check the weight distribution then you know you’re right
Then activate the heavier suspension to enjoy the ride
I got my cargo loaded so full of deed
I hope I got the balance right I don’t want to spill my seed
(Did you get the message?)
Load shift it’s a matter of logistics
When you’re down on the scene
Load shift from one place to another
If you know what I mean
If you know what I mean
Load shift it’s a matter of logistics
When you’re down on the scene
Load shift from one place to another
If you know what I mean

Waterfall
03:53
|
|||
Many warning signs
Dead leaves vegetation on the rock
The river calls your name
The waters cold a dark vertical drop
Down the waterfall
One last breath to call
Down the waterfall
Into the darkness
I lost her from my grip
I never thought it would end like this
I tried but I couldn’t save her
My memories drown into abyss
Down the waterfall
One last breath to call
Down the waterfall
We could have had it all
Down the waterfall
I tried to break the fall
Down the waterfall
Torn to pieces
A basin black and small
A lofty waterfall
A basin black and small
A lofty waterfall
Drowning in your sorrows let them slip away
Darling drown your sorrows let them slip away
Down the waterfall
One last breath to call
Down the waterfall
We could have had it all
Down the waterfall
I tried to break the fall
Down the waterfall
Torn to pieces
I can see it in your eyes that you wanted it all
Can I give you everything you’ll ever need
I can see it in your eyes that you wanted it all
Can I give you everything you’ll ever need

Only One Chance
03:52
|
|||
It’s very important to get rid of that illusion of duality
Find out who is real you
Give me one chance so that I can explain why I do these things
Trust me again
My life is blank without your name let’s stop here
I’ll take the blame
Out of my seat and I’m out of the door with no explanation
I’m gone before they can formulate or evaluate a question
In this short life that only seems to last an hour
How much how much how little is really within our power?
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, tell me no
Run through the streets as I pull out my phone hey baby
I’m gonna be gone
All my life I’ve been trying to blend in but I’m more invisible
Like Daniel Westin
Some of us leave a lasting legacy on a brick wall
I grab a can and write I am here in fifty foot scrawl
In this short life that only seems to last an hour
How much how much how little is really within our power?
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, tell me no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, only an hour
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, oh no
There’s only one chance but I’ve only got an hour to go, tell me no
Tell me no

Takin' All the Money
02:51
|
|||
So many fall to the urge of greed
Desiring more than they’ll ever need
We squander health in search of wealth we beg and save
We all want wealth instead of health
Only to find a grave
Make it break it fake it
Takin’ all the money
Want it need it grab it
Takin’ all the money
On to the next one needing more
Money’s no use when you’re dead on the floor
We grew we looked and craved
The more we saw we had to have
Then we all became enslaved
Until the time it made us mad
Make it break it fake it
Takin’ all the money
Want it need it grab it
Takin’ all the money
Money can’t buy you everything but money does what it does
Money can’t buy divinity but money does what it does
Money can’t buy you everything but money does what it does
Money can’t buy the things it does but money does what it does
Make it break it fake it
Takin’ all the money
Want it need it grab it
Takin’ all the money
Use it lose it choose it
Takin’ all the money
Feel it steel it take it
Takin’ all the money

Brain Shadow
04:23
|
|||
We’re going back in time to 1981
No one even cares anymore but it left him a loaded gun
All this time has passed him by and it never goes away
It’s a mental scar for life and it’s with him to this day
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
Just tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
What a waste of energy when the end is all the same
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
My head’s playing hard to get
I’m just a shadow on a brain, yeah
If I could turn the clock
I’d turn it back and start again, yeah
Through the years and decades on he climbed the highest hill
Fighting through the craving not to take another pill
Sometimes it’s triggered by an unexpected butterfly
He wished he’d learned to fly or fight until the kill
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
Just tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
What a waste of energy when the end is all the same
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
My head’s playing hard to get
I’m just a shadow on a brain, yeah
If I could turn the clock
I’d turn it back and start again
Unwanted hands they find me
Nothing can stop them
Touch me break me
Hidden in our lives are stories better left untold
In time they always find the dark part of your soul
I hope someday to beat the voices in my head
I was that boy at school who wished that he was dead
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
Just tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
What a waste of energy when the end is all the same
Please tell me to acknowledge some hells are one size only
My head’s playing hard to get
I’m just a shadow on a brain, yeah
If I could turn the clock
I’d turn it back and start again
Unwanted hands they find me

Every Part of Me
03:56
|
|||
What is this feeling I can’t seem to shake
I’m not dreaming but I don’t feel awake
Reality is pouring like rain
I see everything behind a glass pane
Everyone you have ever known
Everything I was ever shown
Is inside of me
If everything I see is an illusion am I living in a dream?
Every part of me takes the form of nothing I’ve ever known
Every part of me comes alive at the time but they’re not my own
I’m the only stranger in this land
A thousand journeys by my own hand
I see a window and I’m looking outside
I see my life playing through my own eyes
A sense of unreality
In times of high anxiety
But also randomly
A nauseating feeling the reflection in the mirror wasn’t me
Every part of me takes the form of nothing I’ve ever known
Every part of me comes alive at the time but I’m all alone
Every part of me feels like I can reach into another world
Every part of me
I’m holding on I’m holding on
When I was a kid I used to wonder just maybe if the world existed only for me
If rooms ceased to exist and people disappeared once they left me
The rest of their lives were imagined solely for my entertainment
A sense of unreality
In times of high anxiety
But also randomly
Derealisation disassociation brings me to my knees
Every part of me takes the form of nothing I’ve ever known
Every part of me comes alive at the time but I’m all alone
Every part of me feels like I can reach into another world
Every part of me
I’m holding on I’m holding on
And now it’s gone
